What great info on the symbolism of the food. Black-eyed peas are traditionally eaten in the South in the US on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day for good luck and prosperity in the coming year.
I am hoping to be able to get in direct contact w Dr. Soriano via email.
My name is Deborah Hubbell (I had a spinal fusion that failed) and my husband Bill (has spinal and severe neck damage) & I were patients of Dr. Soriano's when he practiced here in NJ.
There is so much we have happening medically. I wanted his advice on what is our best ways to go about them. Since he has left NJ, he is surely missed. No Dr. had ever been so thuro and cared so much on helping each and every patient as he has. Sinai Hospital and all pain management patients who see him in Baltimore are so blessed to have such an excellent doctor as Dr. Soriano.
Please get in contact soon so we can update and get his opinions. We are willing to come to Baltimore.

Thanks, Deborah Hubbell
