Listen to Your Heart: Sinai Doctor Gives Free Talk on Heart Palpitations

The average heart beats about 100,000 times and pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood every day. By the time someone is 70 years old, that adds up to a whopping 2.5 billion beats!

With this simple math, it’s very apparent how crucial it is to keep your heart healthy. So if you experience heart palpitations- where your heart flutters or pounds or if you faint- it means that your heart is speaking to you.

Jeffrey Banker, M.D., a world-renowned heart-rhythm doctor from the Heart Center at Sinai, will share his expertise and insight at a free talk to explain what you need to know in a talk titled "A Heart to Heart about Palpitations: Why Your Heart Is Speaking to You."

The talk will happen on  Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Professional Building, 4801 Dorsey Hall Drive, Suite 201, Ellicott City, MD 21042 (Crossroads Medical Associates Primary Care office). You will have an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.

The event is free, but you have to call 410-601-WELL (9355) to reserve a spot. Refreshments will be served.

Hope to see you there!
