Sinai Rehabilitation Center, has been given the Frank H. Krusen, M.D., Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). He was chosen for the academy’s highest honor based on his outstanding and unique contributions to the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation in the areas of patient care, research, education and administration.
Dr. Reinstein has been a respected figure in the physical medicine and rehabilitation community for the past 40 years. He joined Sinai Hospital in 1985. Through his expertise, the hospital established a reputation as one of the mid-Atlantic’s leading comprehensive rehabilitation centers.

Reinstein has authored 34 publications and has given 300 national presentations throughout his career. He holds a clinical professorship at Virginia Commonwealth University.
He received the award during the AAPM&R’s annual assembly at National Harbor, Md., on October 5. The Frank H.
