Sinai Hospital

July 4 – WJZ-TV - Waseem El-Halabi, M.D., a Sinai emergency doctor, spoke heat exhaustion. ER-7 was also the backdrop for a live shot. (The interview was rerun on July 7 as part of a story on the first Code Red of the year in Baltimore.)

July 11 – WBAL RadioAli Tabrizchi, D.O., was interviewed about cardiomyopathy in connection with country singer Randy Travis contracting the virus. The interview was posted on the radio station’s website.

July 8 - abc2news.com - Elaine Lennox, M.D., pediatrician in the Sinai ER-7 is quoted in a story about the dangers of leaving your child in a car during extreme high temperatures.(This story also appeared on pikesville.patch.com, baltimoresun.com, baltimorejewishlife.com, Maryland Daily Record.)

Levindale

July 5 – The Alzheimer’s Digest – Dee McGuire, a horticulture therapist, was part of an article about how gardening can help people with Alzheimer’s disease. It was reworked from an earlier article on Agingcare.com

July 10 – WBAL Radio – Levindale is mentioned in an article about longtime board member, David Uhlfelder, becoming vice president of the Board of Education of Baltimore County.(A similar story appeared on the abc2news.com).
