Eighth Annual Race for Our Kids Event Is a Success!

The eighth annual Race for Our Kids presented by the Sinai Hospital Auxiliary, was held on Sunday, September 23, 2012. The race featured USATF-certified 5K and 10K courses, as well as a 1 Mile Family Fun Walk. It was a day of fundraising, families and fun that raised $135,000 for pediatric oncology at the new Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai.

All participants received a long-sleeve technical shirt and could attend a post-race party sponsored by The Classic Catering People. Prizes includes cash, iPod nanos, iPod touches and iPad 3 tablets. There were 1313 participants (which is 400 more than last year)!
