Baltimore Food Trucks Gather at Sinai for a Good Cause
There were no “green eggs and ham,” at the recent Baltimore Food Truck Gathering at Sinai Hospital, but there were hundreds of other delicious menu items for the hundreds of hungry community members and LifeBridge Health employees who turned out to enjoy the experience.
There was truly something for everyone, from traditional fare, such as hamburgers and chicken bento boxes, to unique choices, like crab cake cones and grilled cheese stuffed with macaroni and cheese.
Cookie Monster could have been singing his famous “C Is For Cookie” anthem during the evening because there were also plenty of sweet treats to munch on, including warm chocolate chip cookies, peaches & cream cupcakes and root beer floats.
Fifteen trucks parked on the Sinai campus for the four hour extravaganza, which also featured a live band and perfect weather to eat outside.
Proceeds from the event will benefit brain injury programs at LifeBridge Health and the Brain Injury Association of Maryland.
There was only one problem with the whole night. There were so many interesting menu items that it was hard to decide which ones to eat!
