LifeBridge Health Community Events for the Month of June

LifeBridge Health offers a variety of wellness education classes, lectures and screenings every week. These community events range from breastfeeding support groups to stress reduction and relaxation classes. They are all part of LifeBridge Health’s commitment to making sure that the local community is leading a healthy lifestyle.

6/5/12 – Free Running Evaluation Clinic - Back by popular demand!  LifeBridge Health is offering a free running evaluation clinic on two dates:  June 5 and June 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.  At this clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to have your running technique observed by a trained physical therapist.  You’ll also receive pointers on proper running techniques and what kind of footwear would work best for you.

6/13/12 - A Heart to Heart about Health: Coronary Artery Disease - What you don’t know about coronary artery disease can hurt, or even kill, you!  Join Benjamin Dubois, M.D. as he explains ways to prevent and treat this serious condition at the Heart Center at Sinai’s “A Heart to Heart about Health” lecture series.

6/18/12 – Sinai Bariatrics Information Webinar - Interested in losing weight? Join us for a free information webinar to learn if Bariatric Surgery is right for you. Webinars are hosted by Cynthia L. Long, M.D., F.A.C.S., Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon at Sinai Hospital.

6/19/12 - Sinai Bariatrics Information Session (Elkridge) - Interested in losing weight? Join us for a free information seminar to learn if bariatric surgery is right for you. Hosted by Christina Li, MD, FACS, Division Head of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Sinai Hospital and Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon, these sessions are for new patients in Elkridge area.

6/25/12 - Sinai Bariatrics Information Session - Interested in losing weight? Join us for a free information seminar to learn if bariatric surgery is right for you.
