CervoCheck is the Winner of the LBH Entrepreneur Challenge

LifeBridge Health is always searching  for solutions to some of health care’s most pressing challenges. We’ve created the  Entrepreneur Challenge as a way to foster opportunities for women and minority-owned business owners to present their ideas.  Businesses that were selected to participate in the final round competed for up to $20,000 in prize money and had the chance to pitch their business plan to a panel comprised of senior executives from LifeBridge Health, investors and other prominent business leaders.

This year, the third year of the competition, the finalists were Optimum Health, CervoCheck and My Hopeful Journey. The first prize winner was CervoCheck, which received a $15,000 check from LifeBridge Health CEO and President Warren Green. CervoCheck is developing a device that can help monitor and measure contractions experienced by women in pre-term labor.

My Hopeful Journey took another positive step forward in second place, winning $5,000.

“The Health Entrepreneur Challenge continues our commitment to create access to capital and opportunity for the communities we proudly serve on a daily basis. We are committed to growing women and minority-owned businesses in our community”, says Warren Green, President and CEO of LifeBridge Health.
