LifeBridge Health Offers Heart and LifeStyle Screenings for Men and Women

Why is it important for you to get a heart and lifestyle screening? According to Terrie Dashiell MS, RN-CCP, Manager, Community Health Education, LifeBridge Health, “Prevention, early detection and intervention keep us healthy.  The earlier we can detect an illness, the better our outcome will be.”

One such illness these screenings can detect is high blood pressure, which is known as “The Silent Killer.” High blood pressure can be an indication of heart disease and/or increased stroke risk. The screenings also indicate Potassium levels in the body, which indicate how well the heart and kidneys are working.

LifeBridge Health will be offering heart and lifestyle screenings in September, November and December. These events offer screenings for blood pressure, bloodwork and body composition. Not only are these screenings great for your health, they’re great for your wallet.

Below is more information about the screenings:
“In these days, when many of us are stressed about finances, the low cost of the heart health and lifestyle screening can truly be a lifesaver to someone who is not exhibiting symptoms of being ill,” says Terrie. “The screening is also perfect for someone who is too busy to pay attention to signs and symptoms because of their daily hustle and bustle.”
