During this month of #Thanksgiving, #LifeBridgeHealth team members are giving back through our annual employee giving campaign, which benefits our patients and the communities we serve. During events at facilities across our system, team members had the opportunity have some fun and to show their support the annual "Get In the Game" initiative.

Walk Smart, Don't Dart" #NorthwestHospital’s Dr. Angela Watkins and #BaltimoreCounty Executive Don Mohler joined #92Q’s Pork Chop for interviews about this pedestrian safety campaign, sponsored by Northwest Hospital. They reminded people along Liberty Road and beyond to stay in crosswalks and put down their phones when they cross the street. Baltimore County firefighters and police officers also took part by handing out cards with reminders about pedestrian safety.

More than 70 community members joined #LifeBridgeHealth recently for “Life Happens: Jewish Perspectives on Aging and Planning for the Future” at the Owings Mills JCC. This free educational program offered information on caring for our loved ones and planning for the future, including finances, medical care and end-of-life planning. The Sinai Rehab Recognition Committee held a pre-Veterans Day parade and lunch today to thank veterans for serving our country and protecting our freedom. Veterans who have gone through rehabilitation at Sinai led the parade white past patients, visitors and staff lined the fifth floor route waving American flags!
